This painting depicts a man who is in an X-ray room being examined. The white lines represent the scattered radiation that occurs during every X-ray scan and also shoots through muscle tissue that is not affected.
The subject comes from my personal everyday life and I have long wanted to represent this very technical area also artistically. The black and white x-rays were painted from real patients.
